This place is do disorganized and crooked. They charge your bank at will. The women in the call center are completely clueless as to how things work they each give you a different story. Then as a call center they collectively block you from calling if you’re not willing to accept they will just charge you whenever they want. I’ve asked to speak to manager multiple times and have been denied that change. I’ve been relegated to texting incompetent call center workers which seems unprofessional. I’ve emailed and gotten no response. There are many alternative biking services that provide better bikes and better customer service. Please seek those who let this company die so new ones can take over. This place is grossly unprofessional and are thieves. I’ve been charged $7.49 multiples times as it shows ON THEIR APP my total should have only been $7.49 one time not multiple.

I accidentally put the wrong bike number in my phone to unlock. Unfortunately there was no bike in the slot of the bike I did unlock. I was then charged over $50. I called and was told the bike is in the warehouse. She can do nothing to help me, but will write a ticket. How can I be charged for a bike that is not there? Why did the option to open that specific bike show up on my phone, if THERE IS NO BIKE THERE!!! I am hopeful in 3 days! That someone will get back to me.

We rented two e-bikes, but one had a low battery and the other one had no power at all. We spent part of our time trying to get the bike to work and went over the allotted 30 minutes by ONLY ONE minute and we were charged double the cost without being notified of the charge by email receipt. $25.68 for two bikes for 31 minutes is completely ridiculous. UPDATE: I received a refund for the additional charge and an email apologizing. Thank you.

I really wanted to give 5 stars. However, if I could give negative stars I would. I have belonged to Toronto Bike Share for many years. I love it. I used it multiple times a day, almost every day all year long. But the problems with BCycle began immediately. I went to get a bike and no text came to my phone. Then I tried to swipe my credit card that I used to purchase membership online. Nope, cannot find record, even tho they charged card. Then I returned bike and it locked into place. I have learned to wiggle them to make sure. That has always been my fear that the meter would keep running for days. Then when I went to get another, I could not because they thought I already had a bike out. Plus the stations being clustered near the ocean is a minus. Why not to at least Wilton Manors? If they cannot fix these major issues, I cannot see how they can continue
I have been impressed with how Jeff at the main office handled my complaints. He apologized and reversed the charge giving me another chance to try it out. I am back in Ft Lauderdale to try again.

Stay away from Broward BCycle!!!! The are constantly over charging customers. "Read Reviews" and they are quick to charge you for a missing bike or bike not returned. Meanwhile I spoke with someone who works there and there are gps trackers on every bike. They know where all bikes are at all times and just simply pick them up and charge the customer for a missing bike. They will charge your card anywhere from $1500 to $5,000 This is a very shady company!!!!! They deserve to be out of business and ZERO STARS

The idea is great but the execution is okay. The information online doesn't reflect what the kiosk is tracking. The system depends on people reporting issues to management so it doesn't happen like it should because either people don't care or just don't know how to report issues. All in all the experience was a positive one because once we were finally able to ride then there were very few issues. By the way bring a bike lock in case the one on the bike is too rusted to lock.

Tried to pay twice and the screen notified me that there was a credit card error. Due to the error, I did not take the bicycle out of the rack. I was sent a text message to give feedback, to which I notified them that I did not take the bicycle. Today I received a charge for using the bicycle!

Edit: updated to 4/5 because of the simplicity of fix. I called them and they no hassle refunded the money. Still disappointed about the machine error.
